1. Do the two outlets work independently?
   No. Both outlets are on a single relay bank, so they turn on and off together. Use it when you want to power-cycle a device group, not two separate devices.
   
2. Does it have surge protection?
   No. This model is power control only. If you need surge protection, pair it with a surge protector or choose a WattBox model that includes protection.
   
3. Do I have to use Ethernet, or will Wi-Fi work?
   Either works. Use Wi-Fi when you can’t run a cable. Use Ethernet when you want the most stable connection, especially in racks or commercial installs.
